The Social Security Disability (SSDI) program is a federal insurance program that provides benefits to disabled workers and their dependents.
A disability must be expected to last at least 12 months or result in death to qualify for benefits. Every application has to be carefully reviewed to see if the evidence supports the applicant’s claim, so many people worry whether they have a condition that the Social Security Administration recognizes.
